The collage and cover sleeve on the takeaway cup are inspired by the concept of Points That Bring Us Together, through which I explore the construction of shared contexts among different brands.
I created various games inspired by the photograph of the space between two buildings submitted by architect and artist Eda Şarman as part of the 8th Çanakkale Biennial, addressing the biennial’s fundamental question: How Can We Work Together?
Focusing on an ivy structure located in a narrow space between two buildings in Istanbul, the photograph delves into the acts of wrapping, embracing, hugging, curling, and winding; reflecting both physical and conceptual gestures of togetherness.

On the glass, the approaches of 1:2 Linguist and Theorist Mikhail Bakhtin 1:3 Jazz Musician John Coltrane and 1:4 Sociologist Alfred Schutz to forms of social life are presented.
1:2 “Dialogue is the foundation of human relationships. Social interactions not only create individual meanings, but also shape the meaning of society.” The Dialogic Imagination
1:3 “I saw that I could choose the good, the true, and the beautiful.” Resolution (1965) A Love Supreme
1:4 “Social life is constructed upon the meaningful relationships individuals form with one another. These relationships bring people together and create a shared world of meaning.” The Phenomenology of the Social World
A stylized section of ivy, taken from a photograph by Eda Şarman, was printed as a stereotype onto the upper part of the poster, produced in 10 editions for the brand. Paper dots left over from the sleeve cutting process were scanned using the brand’s gastro-measurement spoons as part of a playful system-unit calculation and added to the central area of the composition.
