She contributed to the book’s design by conducting the documentation photography of the ready-made objects for Labor of Their Hands, Light of Their Eyes (Elinin Emeği, Gözünün Nuru), an artist’s book prepared by the esteemed graphic designer Prof. Melike Tasçıoğlu Vaughan.

Published with the support of the SAHA Sustainability Fund, the book was launched concurrently with the exhibition opening of graphic designer Prof. Melike Tasçıoğlu Vaughan and Maury Vaughan. The simultaneous exhibition at Eldem Art Space, featuring installations placed within the venue, aimed to transport the visitor-reader to the location of the “finds” featured in the book, thereby fostering a dialogue about the relationship between the objects and the past and present.

The book addresses the interaction between traditional and contemporary life, specifically examining the status of handmade products within a material culture that is globalized, mass-produced, and increasingly disposable.
